Applause for giving back during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
I don't care if you are gorgeous, ghastly, plump, svelte, nasty, stank, nouveau riche, celeb status, or just getting by....BREAST CANCER IS A REALITY and like it or not, 1 out of 8 of us will have it.
Even in the dream world of Hollywood, Breast Cancer is a reality.
Many famous women have been affected by this horrible disease.
Sheryl Crow, Melissa Ethridge, Kylie Minogue, Cynthia Nixon, Jaclyn Smith, Christina Applegate, Edie Falco, Olivia Newton John, to name a few...
You know what they are?
They are not actresses or musicians.
THEY ARE WOMEN. THEY ARE SURVIVORS. And many of them are fighting more than for themselves.
They are fighting for all of us by using their voice, here are a little roundup of some of my favorite celebrities doing great things for The Cure.
Celeb # 1: Christina Applegate,had to undergo a double mastectomy last year, has partnered up with Lee Jeans, and helped them celebrate Denim Day. Denim Day, now in it's 13th year, has raised over $75 million in the fight against breast cancer.
Celeb #2: As an ode to my marvelous Editor (ed note: Aw, zank you!), we can not forget the magnificent Fran Drescher and her foundation, Cancer Schmancer.
Fran, using her appointed political stance & of course, infamous voice, in conjunction with Paul Mitchell to raise awareness for a cause close to her.
Drescher an author, former hairdresser, and cancer survivor, and has recently taken on her most important role to date: founder and women’s health advocate for the Cancer Schmancer foundation.
Paul Mitchell is launching a limited edition smoothing iron to benefit Fran Drescher’s organization, Cancer Schmancer. A portion of the proceeds will go to the charity and help promote early detection of all cancers, and the iron will only be available through October 31, 2009.

Celeb Duo #3: Michelle Trachtenberg and Kristin Chenoweth, supporting women by putting together baskets for CEW’s Cancer and Careers breast cancer initiative.
In addition to creating a Breast Cancer Awareness store with an assortment of products that benefit different BCA charities, from October 12-18, if you click HERE, 10% of all purchases made on Beauty.com will be donated to CEW’s Cancer and Careers.
Shoppers can buy anything sold on the site, not just BCA products (nothing is restricted in any way).

I bought this combination for myself. I have been using them since end of August. So far, I lost about 5-7 lbs which I gained over the summer while I was visiting my parents. I didn't change my eating habit dramaticly, but I do pay more attention the food I ate. If anyone out there wants to loose the last five lbs, you should give a try.

I think this product did just want it had intended to do. I found myself having a lot of energy when using this and actually lost weight! I've never taken a diet pill that didn't make me jittery and this doesn't do that at all! I feel energized and without the jitters. I also didn't feel as hungry throughout the day. I would recommend this product to anyone!
