And now, the sporting world (read: Olympics) as well?
While watching the winter men's figure skating last week, I'm thinking the whole world is absolutely goo-goo for Gaga puffs.
Two names: Johnny Weir & Evan Lysacek.
Did you SEE those outfits!?
Way more lace, geometric shapes and attitude than you'd typically find on a figure skater.
Lipstick Lezzy, Skating Diva, Johnny Weir is among those obsessed with Gaga and claims her as his inspiration on and off the ice.
His low-cut, black mesh costume with a pink corset, sequins and even a few ruffles has caused almost as big a stir as his fox fur costume he wore at the National Championships (PETA got involved).
Weir may not have won any medals, but he always has his fashion sense to fall back on (ice wardrobe stylist?).
Other Gaga-esque costume of the week, that I'm kvelling over?
Evan Lysacek, whose costumes are designed by Vera Wang.
Lysacek's look isn't as tranny flash as Weir's; instead, it's more artistically subtle; using all black costumes with racy accents such as spikes and feathers that Wang tailored to each of his programs.
