We've seen all pastel brights in nail polish this season; but, why not be ahead of the game and try one of the looks for fall?
(I know it just hit 70 two weeks ago.. So why am I suggesting anything to do with fall??)
The runways for F/W 2010 have transitioned our bare legs and nude heels (so hot!) onto our nails.
So how do you get a nice and stylish neutral nail color?
You could keep classic (yawn) with a peach or blush color, try O.P.I. 'Get Me to the Taj on Time', Chanel 'Inattendu' or 'Tendresse'. OR you could dirty it up and go with more of a 'mud' color.
Inspired by the runways for F/W 2010 (Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Derek Lam, etc), this 'mud' is anything but dirty.
Try the Essie 'Chinchilly' or Sally Hansen 'Commander in Chic' (I'm obsessed).
If you really want to go all out try one of the runway recipes here.
So why natural?
Some say it's the economy why we're seeing so much neutral: the need to go 'back to basics'. But if you ask me, neutral colors are classy, can last longer (if applied correctly) and alludes to longer digits as well. Whatever the reason, try it out and see which au natural look you rock best.
