Elyse DiPierri I'm a born & raised New Yorker with a love of the glamourous. Had stints at MTV, Star Magazine, Gotham Magazine, Live! With Regis & Kelly, to my most current outpost, Sales & Marketing Director at Breaking Media (Fashionista.com, Dealbreaker.com, Abovethelaw.com & Goingconcern.com). I started GC initally as a curiousity project stemmed from my current position, & now has morphed into 2nd job & somewhat of an obsession. Some random hobbies & quirks of mine: Beauty products, bargain shopping, telling it like it is, referencing my BBF (British Boyfriend), reading non-fiction, listening to jazz standards, persian kittens, painting, a severe passion for food (which includes cooking meals & until they're scrumptious <thanks ma'>), The Old New York, Being a New Yorker, Self-diagnosing in OCD, ADD & Hypochondria, Taking long city walks, Water with lemon, Living, Glamourizing & Nesting on the Upper East Side of Manhattan |

So, I'm Toni: That do-everything-go-anywhere friend you always wish you had. The one, in high school, who taught how to not wear orange foundation, and that told you those wide leg jeans made you look like a gingerbread house. I'm a born and bred New Yorker that skipped out for college in Miami before it became the place to be. Kind of over it now & just moved back seven years later at the ripe old tomato age of 25. I'm ready to take back NYC and the world at large. Everyone has an opinion, but mine is really much healthier for you. I'm here discussing the things we really want, need, a few things that aren't always perfect; but, nothing a little 'retail therapy' can't fix. |

Lauren Rich Having grown up in the 'burbs of D.C., I got a taste of big city life early on. When I high-tailed it out of the boonies immediately after high school to attend New York's Fashion Institute of Technology, I was more than glad to swap the cows of Maryland for the GlamourCows of NYC. Now a fashion PR maven by day and serial internet dater by night (and not just Match.com - I've got all the sites covered), I bring to all you fellow GlamourCows my trials, tribulations, do's, don'ts, tips, tricks (no, not in the prostitute sort of way) and more in the fabulous, competitive, and, let's face it - unique - world of New York City dating. I mean, where else can you double book a happy hour date with Guy-Next-Door from PlentyofFish and a moonlit helicopter tour of the city with Mr. Big from Match SugarDaddie? Hey, when I said 'em all, I mean them all. |

Michelle Romano Many of us had a favorite prop when playing imaginary games as young girls. Some of us had a pair of our moms' old heels. Some of us had our parents' expired credit cards. I had a globe. I used to give it a spin, close my eyes, put my finger down, and head out on an elaborate journey to wherever fate led me. Sometimes I was on a treasure hunt in the South Pacific. Sometimes I was struggling through a blizzard in the Arctic Circle. Wherever I ended up, it was always an adventure. About 15 years later, not much has changed. I looked at my stint at Boston University as one big "study" abroad opportunity, spending one semester in Italy and another in New Zealand, using the opportunities to see and do as much as possible. Some of my favorite memories include: bungee jumping in Queenstown, snorkeling in Samoa and hiking in the Dolomites. At BU, I majored in journalism and desperately wanted to be a travel writer. Now that I'm in the working world, I get to write--and travel--on the side, which is awesome. So, in my spare time, I find myself periodically checking airfare, planning trips and proofreading. |

Now at 19, I attend Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island; majoring in Marketing with a minor in Entrepreneurship. I have a certain weakness for ice cream so of course after college (and some experience) I want to open my own ice cream parlor. So far I've been living the 'fabulous life' of a college student & can anticipate the road ahead will be nothing but a joy ride. |
